Preparing your body for pregnancy with successful health and fitness routines will give you stamina to move through pregnancy with a little (or a lot) more ease. It will also strengthen your mind and body for discomforts, added weight and emotions that arise.  Those already overweight or suffering from polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) may improve infertility when preparing the body for pregnancy through health and fitness.  For healthy pregnancies (with your doctor’s clearance), you can continue performing familiar exercises and cardio routines used before conception throughout the pregnancy, or by monitoring body temperature and following your own body’s cues.

Your body begins a difficult recovery after birth. While the natural process slowly repairs and resets, other parts of your body require effort. Getting back into shape after delivery using specific guided exercises ensures that you do good for your body and AVOID, or CORRECT Diastasis Recti (also known as split abdominal muscles).

These sessions are open to bringing babies (in arms) along with you to either rest in their own place, rest upon your chest or in carrier while we do work, or be incorporated into some gentle exercises.  We support the bond between mother and baby and will do what we can to provide a comfortable atmosphere for both.
